Job Description

WordPress DeveloperStrong expertise in WordPress CMS architecture, custom theme development, custom plugin development, PHP (object-oriented programming), MySQL database design & optimization, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX and REST APIs, Gutenberg block development, advanced custom fields (ACF), frameworks & tools, Bootstrap/Tailwind CSS, Git, GitHub, Composer, Webpack/Gulp, WP-CLI.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality delivery.Front-end Development: Develop responsive and user-friendly website interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, SASS, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern frameworks. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness. Optimize web pages for speed, performance, and accessibility. Implement modern front-end practices and interactive user experiences.Back-end Development: Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins. Customize WordPress core functionalities without impacting upgrade compatibility. Design and implement custom post types, taxonomies, widgets, and Gutenberg blocks. Integrate third-party APIs, CRM systems, payment gateways, and external services. Develop secure and scalable solutions following WordPress coding standards. Troubleshoot and resolve website performance, functionality, and security issues.Database & Server Management: Work extensively with MySQL databases. Optimize database queries and website performance. Configure caching mechanisms, CDN integration, and website optimization techniques.DevOps & Version Control: Use Git/GitHub for source code management. Manage staging and production environments.Quality & Security: Conduct code reviews and maintain coding best practices. Implement website security measures and vulnerability fixes. Ensure GDPR, accessibility, and SEO compliance where applicable.
